Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Audio files are stored using Amazon S3. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using argon2id with an additional pepper for extra security. Session authentication is handled through secure, server-side sessions stored in our database.
XAudios uses session cookies to keep you logged in. These cookies contain a secure session token that references a server-side session record and are essential for the platform to function. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

When you upload audio content, it is publicly accessible on the platform along with your username. Comments you post are visible to other users. You can delete your content at any time, which will remove it from the platform.
